Malmsbury & animals tea towel

This tea towel's illustration is the place I live and work - Dja Dja wurrung country - Malmsbury Central Victoria.
Many of my customers come to this country town for my workshops, and enjoy the cute of this place!!
I included all animals I regularly see in this town, of course iconic Geese around the botanical garden as well.
Another big icon is the historical bluestone bridge - it is the largest masonry bridge in Victoria.
Malmsbury bluestone is well known as its great quality, and this beautiful viaduct was made with full of these bluestones.
Yes, it was a bit crazy to draw each stones by hand for this illustration, but I also enjoyed!

This tea towel is screen printed by hand one by one with ecological water base ink on 100% linen. Screen printed by Connecting 2 Australia's cooperation, this organisation is supporting & providing opportunities people who are living with disability all ages. It was super lovely to work with them, and I hope I can keep supporting this organisation by making these tea towels!
