Japanese Home-Style Cooking Workshop
Experience the heart of Japanese home cooking in this hands-on, seasonal workshop.

Guided by Yoko, you'll prepare 5–6 wholesome dishes using Japanese fermented seasonings such as miso, soy sauce, and koji-based condiments. Each dish highlights the natural flavours of seasonal vegetables, an essential element of everyday Japanese cuisine.

Throughout the workshop, you'll have the chance to explore traditional Japanese kitchen tools like the suribachi (mortar and pestle) and the rectangular tamagoyaki pan, which are rarely seen outside Japan.

This is more than just a cooking class, you’ll also learn the fundamentals of Japanese table etiquette, plating, and the gentle art of serving food the Japanese way.

At the end of the session, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy the meal you’ve created together. It’s a relaxed and friendly time to eat, chat, and ask Yoko anything about Japanese food and culture.

Whether you’re new to Japanese cooking or looking to deepen your knowledge, this workshop offers an intimate and inspiring way to connect with Japanese culinary traditions.
