Set of a hand made and painted cooking bowl and a wooden stick - known as Suribach & Surikogi.
These are a Japanese traditional food processor (mortar and pestle) and essential tool for Japanese cooking.
Great for grinding (Like sesame seeds and nuts) , mixing several ingredients, making dressing and making paste (like miso paste!)
They give you mindfulness cooking moment, use full of five senses : feel, hear, smell, visual and taste! You will enjoy using this so much. Japanese food cooking lover's must item. You can also use as a bowl for noodle & soup or salad bowl.

Brown base with mat dark brown/black glazing. Rare colour.
Inside of bowl is lightly grazed, so it is very easy to clean.
